1. Importing the Complete Site
Before you begin, install the provided All-in-One WP Migration plugin to your WordPress installation on your-domain.com. This plugin is included in your deliverables—install this version before importing to avoid the size limits of the WordPress.org free plugin.
1.1. Install & Activate All-in-One WP Migration
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Select
all-in-one-wp-migration.zip, click Install Now, then Activate.
1.2. Import Your Site Backup
- Navigate to All-in-One WP Migration → Import.
- Click Import From → File, select the
.wpressbackup, then Proceed to overwrite. - Wait for the import to finish—this can take several minutes.
1.3. Refresh Permalink Structure
- Go to Settings → Permalinks.
- Click Save Changes twice to regenerate rewrite rules and avoid 404 errors.
2. Customizing Site Identity, Menus & Styles
After import, update your branding and navigation.
2.1. Update Site Title & Logo
- Appearance → Customize → Site Identity.
- Change Site Title and Tagline to reflect your brand.
- Upload your Site Logo (recommended 250×100px).
- Click Publish.

2.2. Configure Menus
- Appearance → Menus.
- Select Primary Menu, edit items (Home, Blog, Reviews, Help, Contact).
- Enable Open in new tab for external links if needed.
- Click Save Menu.

2.3. Set Colors & Typography
- Appearance → Customize → Global (Astra settings).
- Under Colors, apply your brand palette.
- Under Typography, choose fonts and sizes.
- Click Publish.

3. Customizing Layout with Elementor Pro
Use Elementor Pro’s Theme Builder to tailor templates.
- Ensure Elementor Pro is Active
- Plugins → Installed Plugins → verify Elementor Pro is active.
- Edit Theme Templates
- Templates → Theme Builder → customize Header, Footer, Single Review, Archive.
- Drag & Drop Widgets
- Use Nav Menu, Logo, Button, Icon Box, etc.
- Global Settings
- In Elementor, open Site Settings → Global Colors & Typography to set brand styles.

4. Configuring WP Mail SMTP for Email Delivery
Ensure all site emails (notifications, form submissions) send reliably via SMTP.
4.1. Install & Activate WP Mail SMTP
- Plugins → Add New, search WP Mail SMTP by WPForms, click Install, then Activate.
4.2. Configure General Settings
- WP Mail SMTP → Settings.
- Under General, set:

- Enable Force From Email and Force From Name.
4.3. Choose & Setup Mailer
- Select your mailer (Generic SMTP, SendGrid, Mailgun, Gmail).
- Enter SMTP Host, Port (465/587), Encryption (SSL/TLS), Username, Password.
- Click Save Settings.
4.4. Test Email
- Open the Email Test tab.
- Enter your address, click Send Email, verify receipt.

5. Setting Up & Testing Contact Form 7 in Elementor
Embed and verify Contact Form 7 forms for lead capture.
5.1. Confirm CF7 Activation
- Plugins → Installed Plugins → ensure Contact Form 7 is active.
5.2. Configure the Form
- Contact → Contact Forms, select your form.
- In the Mail tab, set:

5.3. Embed & Test
- In Elementor, add the Contact Form 7 widget and select your form.
